Coffee Collision

by Celia Sin-Tien Cheng
May 21, 2008

We can’t seem to stop with the coffee mania this month. First the Coffee Craze feature, then we gave away two awesome Irving Farm Gift Boxes for last week’s Baking Friday. And last but not least, we proudly present our first Cravings t-shirt: Coffee Collision. Buy it here!

It’s the first in a series of stains to come. We’d love to get your input on what you’d like to see in our collection, so please share some of your craving mishaps with us. Wine or mustard spills, we want to hear all about them! Click on the “comment” button below to share your story and vote for future stains.

I would love a list of coffee houses that give you warm milk to add at your leisure like the cafes in Paris.

Winter 2002. Balthazar Restaurant. Meeting my boyfriend’s mother for the first time. Arriving late while my boyfriend and his mother were already sitting and enjoying a fine bottle of beautiful red wine. I apologized and sat down gracefully. Lifted up my freshly white napkin and flung a filled big bubble red wine glass onto myself. Not a slightest squirm nor noise was made and I gracefully (again) stood up and gently glided to the washroom, removed my outer layer, tipped the washroom attendant and materialized back to the crowded dining room. “That was very graceful,” said the mother. PRICELESS!
