Amex Platinum Card

Enthusiast!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be working with American Express as an “Enthusiast” for the next couple of months!

As a food lover, I was approached to explore the food-related rewards and benefits of Amex’s charge card and share my experiences, good or bad, with you. I’ll particularly be exploring the benefits of dining and travel, so I’ll report back any great tips I find. Look out for my tweets!

Just to be clear, I’m not being paid for this. I’ll receive 50,000 Membership Rewards points in order to explore Amex benefits and share them with you. And, besides, I welcome the opportunity to use a charge card rather than a credit card in the current economy. I was also drawn to Amex’s active desire to engage with food lovers.

Since I started using the charge card last month, I’ve already had many conversations with sales associates, family and friends on why they either love or hate it. And I would love to hear your thoughts on Amex and its cards, too!

I love the amex card and use it extensively in the US. However I am always disappointed when traveling in Europe; nearly no one accepts it.

I am a card member of Amex since 1982 but not using it so often since many would prefer to accept other cards. Am still paying annual card fees (not being charged from other cards) for the sole reason of nostalgia.

Congratulation!
