On November 1st, Chef Olivier Muller of DB Bistro Moderne will run the New York City Marathon in support of Malaria No More, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending malaria in Africa. To further raise funds, this Sunday he is offering a three-course North African-inspired menu (see below) with wine pairings. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Malaria No More.

Traditional Moroccan Couscous
Chicken, lamb stew, merguez, chickpea ragout, harissa jus

Selection of Fall Desserts

Chef Muller’s cuisine is flawless. His perfect juxtaposition of ingredients and flavors creates the most balanced and subtle dishes. He once invited me during peak (power) lunch hour to see how the chef at a top New York restaurant runs his kitchen. It was an experience I’ll never forget. The level of skill, concentration and coordination was a pleasure to witness.

The food and wine selections at the benefit will no doubt be a treat, but it will be even more enjoyable to know that you’ll be supporting a good cause.
