DIFFA’s 2009 Dining By Design Table Hop & Taste

I’m looking forward to DIFFA’s Dining By Design Table Hop & Taste at Pier 94 next Sunday alongside the Architectural Digest Home Design Show. At last year’s event, designer David Stark showed this colorful house of layered pantone chips. Details for the event follow:

WHAT
DIFFA’s (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) DINING BY DESIGN brings together some of the most talented in the fashion, interior design, art, and architecture to create spectacular, over-the-top dining environments.

At TABLE HOP & TASTE, patrons view amazing installations while sipping Castello di Gabbiano wines paired with tastes from New York’s top restaurants and gourmet food purveyors. Participants include: Bella Cucina Artful Food, Dandoy Biscuits, Estiatorio Milos, North Square, Ilili, Kittichai, French Culinary Institute, ICON, Murray’s Cheese, Tribeca Grill and LA Burdick Chocolate.


WHO
Table designs by luminaries such as David Rockwell, Carleton Varney, Christopher Coleman for Profiles, Tracy Reese, Jerry Sibal for Design Fusion, Alfredo Paredes for Ralph Lauren Home, Brad Ford and Tracy Stern will be featured all weekend long.

Sunday, March 29, 2009, 12pm – 5pm.

Pier 94, 12th Avenue at 55th Street, New York City.


ADMISSION
$50 per person online at diffa.org or at the door.

$60 online tickets include DIFFA’s DINING BY DESIGN Table Hop & Taste, the Architectural Digest Home Design Show and a six-month subscription to Architectural Digest magazine.
