The next in the American Museum of Natural History’s Adventures in the Global Kitchen series is Wines to Compliment Spicy Food —two of my favorite things – on April 14th.

Wine, like spices, can enhance and transform flavor. Whether a meal is Thai, Indian, Mexican, or Cajun, wine pairings can “kick up” the burn or soothe the palate. Join Julie Sahni, an award-winning chef and author of 2002 IACP Best International Cookbook Savoring India: Recipes and Reflections on Indian Cooking, and Ursula Massoud, co-owner of Long Island winery Paumanok, for an evening of spicy pairings.

This program is part of a series of tastings and lectures for adults and educational programming for children offered at the American Museum of Natural History in conjunction with the exhibition Traveling the Silk Road: Ancient Pathway to the Modern World on view through August 15.
