We’re very excited that Hot Bread Kitchen is growing and will soon be selling at more markets in The City!

If you missed our Hot Bread Kitchen Baking Friday, Hot Bread Kitchen is an extraordinary non-profit that provides a career track for immigrant women while preserving baking traditions.

As you can see in the above photo of Hot Bread Kitchen Executive Director Jessamyn Waldman (right) and baker Elidia (left), the women at Hot Bread Kitchen have a lot of fun while creating delicious baked goods like the blue corn tortilla.

TastebudsNYC is sponsoring a cook-off fundraiser in support of Hot Bread Kitchen on Sunday, April 11, from 4 – 7 pm at Jimmy’s No. 43. Chefs from Blue Hill, as well as foodies from the five boroughs, will be making dishes to accompany Hot Bread Kitchen’s organic, non-GMO corn tortillas or their nutty granola.

So come join the fun and show your support for a good cause and delicious baked goods!
