Oyster Shooter Recipe Competition

Summertime is the perfect season for raw bars, and nothing’s better than oyster shooters, which combine cocktails and raw oysters!
Grand Central Oyster Bar is searching for the best oyster shooter recipe, and is accepting entries from now through Thursday, September 16, for their first annual “Great Oyster Shooter Face Off.”
Recipes must be martini-style cocktails, iced and served in a martini glass, that feature a raw oyster to compliment the drink.
The final competition will take place at the Grand Central Oyster Frenzy on Saturday, September 25. The five finalists — one amateur and four professionals — must be in attendance at the Frenzy to mix their concoction for a panel of judges.
The winner’s prize includes dinner for two at the Grand Central Oyster Bar, and the winner’s recipe will be featured on the bar menu.
To enter, email your recipe to info@oysterbarny.com, with the subject “Great Oyster Shooter Face Off.” Remember to designate whether you are an amateur or professional, and at which establishment(s) you are a mixologist or chef.
