A Year in Honor of Pork!

The February feature, I Heart Oinkers, has finally launched! This month is a tribute to all things porky. There’s a lot of talk about bacon in our Indulging piece, with Fergus Henderson, William Henry and Megan Woo, contributing to the pork frenzy!
Also, at long last there are new posts in all sections: Sipping, Craving, Tasting and Indulging. Sorry for the delay.
Here’s some news from Cyn on the Sipping front:
As many loyal Sipping followers may know, I teach a series of champagne-pairing classes at Murray’s Cheese. Past class themes have ranged from Champagne & Cheese to Prosecco Popped. Next month, on March 21st, I will be presenting the ever-so-decadent pairing of champagnes and oysters. Unfortunately (I mean, fortunately), the class has sold out but for those who are interested there is a wait list. I love intimate events like these and have some exciting champagne events planned for the spring. If you would like to get advance notice on upcoming events/classes, please send an email to thia@findyourcraving.com with your email address so I can add you to my “bubbly list.”
And finally (it’s Celia again), please note that there are some new additions to the site. In the right hand navigation, you’ll notice an aStore link to Cravings’s Amazon store. Items will be updated monthly but it’s just a little something to showcase what’s currently inspiring me. Another new enhancement is the Reservations link. I am a big proponent of online reservations and have been using OpenTable.com for more than four years now. It’s easy to use and has a Dining Rewards program that lets you earn points (gift certificates) towards feature excursions at participating restaurants. Plus they have a huge network, not just in New York, nationally and expanding globally! Throughout the site, any restaurant that offers online reservations has a “reservations” link that takes you directly to the reservations page. Try it out and let me know what you think!
