There’s a new coffee shop opening in town! But this one is different from any other because it’s run by teen participants in the not-for-profit Teen Entrepreneur Boot Camp. Run by Pam Chmiel of Klatch Coffee Bar, this alternative summer camp shows 8th through 12th graders what it takes to start a coffee shop and culminates in the opening of a pop-up shop like Mötley Brüe.
Mötley Brüe, named for its rock and roll theme, will feature Williamsburg’s Porto Rico coffee and espresso, baked goods from Billy’s Bakery, and an exhibit of classic rock guitars. This pop-up store will open at 127 Fulton Street in Manhattan for two days only on Thursday, August 13th and Friday, August 14th.
Support these teens in their endeavor, and stop by Mötley Brüe this Thursday and Friday! And if you’re interested in tracking their daily progress, check out their blog!
