I don’t know about you, but I love anything pickled. From American pickles to Chinese and Japanese pickled vegetables, pickled goods are a staple in my diet.
As part of Global Kitchen, a new series on global cuisine at The American Museum of Natural History, Lucy Norris, author of Pickled: Preserving a World of Tastes and Traditions and Bob McClure of McClure’s Pickles are presenting The Magic of Pickling next Tuesday. You can learn all about the history of pickling and the development of diverse recipes from cultures across the world.
This is right up my alley — a lecture and tasting. I love events that are both educational and interactive, especially when they include food!
