The burger soup at Stand is a cross between minestrone and French onion, with meatballs thrown in. While it sounds like a big mishmash of ingredients, they work together to create a magically delicious soup. The melted cheddar, onions and crouton remind me of French onion and the macaroni and vegetables, minestrone. But the burger soup could not be complete without the meatballs in a flavorful beef broth. It’s a meal in itself and extremely comforting.
