Michael White’s pastas are to die for, and my latest craze is the creste seafood pasta at Osteria Morini. One bite and I was hooked. Now I can’t help but order it on every visit! I’m not a big mussel fan, but the mussels in this dish are fresh, plump, and juicy. And that’s just part of the seafood bounty that includes tender shrimp and scallops seasoned with parsley and garlic and topped with crispy breadcrumbs. The textured surface and the extra fin along the back of this chewy elbow macaroni, known as creste, help soak up the heavenly tomato-based seafood broth.
