The beef rendang at Laut is Chef-Owner Kathy Wong’s signature dish. She uses 22 different spices and cooks the beef over hours to get all that amazing Southeast Asian flavor soaked in deep. The rendang is dry, so don’t expect a saucy curry, but it pairs perfectly with rice. The Malaysian cuisine at Laut shows attention to detail, and the flavors of the dishes are rich and thoughtful.
