In the city of cupcakes, this one stands out as elegant and understated. It’s not relying on fancy icing or mesmerizing pastel colors. It is by all means a beautiful cupcake but also simple in taste and style. You can see and taste the vanilla bean in the frosting, which is creamy, and the almond slices sprinkled on top add to the perfect taste and texture. The cake itself is one of the most fluffy and moist I’ve tasted in the City. It’s also the perfect size — small and dainty. Bravo, Bouley Bakery!
