Pisco, a hard liquor made from grapes, is the national liquor of both Chile and Peru. A Pisco Sour is a cocktail made by mixing pisco with lemon, sugar, egg whites and ice cubes. Pomaire serves it in a flute which makes this beautiful concoction of foam layered on top of fluid all the more elegant. It’s absolutely delicious. Much like the Brazilian cocktail, Caipirinha, its sweetness disguises the strength of the liquor. It’s so easy to drink and so hard to stop.
