The char-grilled lamb burger is one of the most popular dishes on The Breslin’s menu. Served on a ciabatta bun that has a great bite and safely holds the hearty medium rare lamb patty, it’s topped with feta cheese and red onions, and comes with fries and cumin mayo that looks deceptively like mustard at first glance. This slab of lamb meat will satisfy the primal cravings of any burger fan. The slightly gamy lamb flavor is countered by the fragrant cumin in the mayo. And those super crispy fries — thrice fried — are no doubt among the best in the city. It’s a real treat, but I almost feared a heart attack after finishing the plate!
