The bartender grinds shiso leaves using a mortar and pestle, to release a powerful aroma, then adds vodka and yuzu juice to create this shiso infused vodka drink. The flavors meld together in the cocktail shaker, and the mixture is poured over ice with a single shiso leaf added for decoration. Watching the drink being made in front of you is part of the happy experience.
