WSET Foundation Certificate Course

Become a more educated consumer and entertain more at home this winter with your new wine expertise.

This month International Wine Center is offering a two-day Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Foundation Certificate course. This is a basic introduction to wine specifically designed for those with no previous wine knowledge.

WHAT
In this class, you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as practicing proper bottle opening and tasting and describing wines. You’ll also sample an assortment of foods paired with various wines in order to see which work well together and which don’t.

At the end of the course, an optional exam will be offered for the opportunity to earn the WSET® Level 1 Foundation Certificate in Wines, an internationally-recognized certificate awarded by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).

WHEN
Saturdays, February 28 and March 7, 2009, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

WHERE
International Wine Center, 350 7th Avenue, Suite 1201, New York, NY 10001

TUITION
Tuition is $275 + $10 registration fee and NYS sales tax.
