A Black-Tie Picnic

by Cynthia Sin-Yi Cheng

I pulled it off! This past weekend, I threw an intimate black-tie picnic for my birthday. Besides being a wine writer, I am after all an event planner. The horrid weather did not deter me a bit! Madame Soleil always dotes on me, as you’ll see in the photos of the event. She graced us with her presence throughout the picnic.

Hey there, birthday girl.

This looks like it was a classy do. And, luckily there were no umbrellas in your photo montage so the sun must have come out for you.

Cheers and belated Happy BD.

Marsha
PS: We are thrilled that you’re going to AA with us. It will be fantastic.

Dear Cyn,
Long time no see. Miss you.
I’m forwarding your website to a friend’s daughter who’s studying in NY, and happened to see your great idea of bday picnic.
Chic and stylish, nice photos. Happy belated birthday.
