Floyd Cardoz of Tabla, is the best chef in the city; he’s so inventive and isn’t afraid to take risks. Which doesn’t mean that sometimes his food flops, but that he puts himself and his ideas out there for some really ingenious pairings.

Wesley Genovart at Degustation has to be my current favorite. Not only is the food delicious and ridiculously reasonably priced, but he’s back there at the plancha, he let us pick our own tasting menu, and chatted pleasantly with everyone in the place while churning out gorgeous small plates.
