Vinegar Hill House's Chocolate Guinness Cake

No, the chef is not eyeing that last piece of chocolate Guinness cake, but he’s looking at me taking this picture. I’ve made that cake myself many times from the New York Times recipe but it’s never tasted as good as Vinegar Hill House’s. (Email me if you want the recipe!) You can also see their famous wood-burning oven in the background that is to commend for so many of their deliciously comforting dishes.
