Uni Somen (sea urchin noodles) and Champagne Blindfolded
While in Tokyo, The Cheng Sisters attended a blind champagne tasting. Blind as in we were blindfolded, separated, and sent off to make new friends while finding each course and each champagne served in front of us. It was entirely too much fun! My favorite dish and pairing was the somen noodles with a uni dipping sauce, paired with the G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge. I would definitely do this again!
