Come join us for our first Shochu tasting event at Kyotofu!

Shochu, a Japanese distilled liquor, can be made from flavors as wide ranging as rice, wheat, potato, sesame, wasabi and sugar cane. Kyotofu owners, Michael Berl and Nicole Bermensolo, and Cravings’ Cheng Sisters have paired some of these deliciously strong spirits with an elegant dinner menu composed by Chef Magdalena Wong. Plus, we’ll start the event with some of Kyotofu’s luscious signature shochu cocktails while you mingle with the crowd!

And, take home a goody bag!

Note: Kyotofu’s menu focuses on soy-based ingredients, so if you are allergic to soy, we advise that you join our next event!

Kyotofu Original Shochu Cocktails — 4 of Kyotofu’s most popular shochu cocktails using Takara Jun Shochu:

  • Sake Marinated Pork Belly with Tofu-Miso Apple Slaw — Pairings: N’nmaka Barley Shochu (Kagoshima) & Okunomatsu Potato Shochu (Fukushima)
