I’m sure you’ve heard about if not tasted stinky tofu. I live for stinky tofu. When I was a kid, my dad used to order it daily from the street vendor who passed by his office, and had him deliver to me at home. Street vendors in Taiwan tend to sell stinky tofu deep-fried, but at Shanghainese restaurants, like Rong Rong Yuan, they are steamed and cooked with sauce. Stinky, stinky! I love it.
