When I hear the words “spicy pork belly sliders,” my natural instinct is to run to Danji and devour them. The sweet and spicy thin slices of marinated pork belly are paired with kochujang and topped with scallions. The spread of mayonnaise and butter on the buns add a rich creaminess that mixes well with the sweet and spicy kochujang. The texture of the pork belly gives the sliders a tad more complexity than the bulgogi sliders, which are equally as good. There are two sliders per order, but be forewarned that that probably won’t be enough. If you want to make them at home or whet your appetite, check out the recipe in the recipe box to the right.
