Momofuku Milk Bar’s soft serve ice cream is the perfect low-maintenance dessert solution for this bustling peachy empire. The rotating flavors, however, reflect careful composition and a departure from traditional (i.e. boring) flavors. Cereal milk is the staple but there is always an alternate rotating flavor — and it’s different at all Milk Bar locations (see menu for current flavors such as blueberry miso or guava horchata). Each bite of cereal milk brings you back to your childhood, combining two favorites: cereal and ice cream. And the lighter fruit-based mix is a good complement, regardless of what it is, as the cereal milk is a very neutral agent. I love ducking in to Milk Bar for a quick soft serve pick-me-up.
