I like the vegetarian pad kee mao at Chelsea Thai because the crispy tofu is the key to goodness! Of course it complements the wide flat noodles with red bell peppers, jalapeño, Thai basil and chili paste. To think of it, this dish is supremely heavy on carbs, but who cares! It’s downright yummy! For this who don’t take heat well, beware! This is a very spicy dish. Bonus: Chelsea Thai is also a small market for Thai and other Asian groceries, so you can pick up some ingredients and venture to make your own creations after sampling theirs.
