I’ve become hopelessly addicted to the salted oat cookies at Milk and Cookies. These cookies are soft and chewy, a blend of an oatmeal base with Rice Krispies, white chocolate and toffee, with Maldon sea salt sprinkled on top. The oatmeal and Rice Krispies give the cookie a texture that you can really bite into, and the white chocolate and toffee provide a blend of gooeyness and sweetness that is then counterbalanced by the sea salt. You get a bit of both savory and sweet in each bite, and for someone like me who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, it’s a very happy balance.
