My latest obsession is the resin ware of San Francisco-based designer Tina Frey. Her collections, including modern houseware and jewelry, combine two of my favorite things, a beautiful palette of colors and hand-sculpted craft. You can mix and match colors of bowls, dishes and vases to make your own distinctive collection. I love the soft and flowing texture of the resin. Frey explains that her colorful pieces “are inspired by delicious translucent popsicles, jelly beans, and the blue sea.” The Pedestal and Lapin collections are particularly whimsical and utilitarian. Personal favorites that I’ve been using for holiday entertaining are the champagne bucket, olive and baguette dishes, and the indispensible cheese board.
