Joyce Bakeshop’s savory quiches are fantastic! They are super moist and fluffy — almost like an egg custard — unlike so many quiches out there. On weekdays, they have individual-sized quiches, and on weekends there’s quiche by the slice. There’s also the choice of vegetable quiche with or without bacon. Surprisingly, I actually prefer the vegetarian version. But let me make absolutely clear, this is not for a lack of love for bacon. The vegetables, like kale, broccoli rabe, or leek, vary by season and chef’s preference. This is how a quiche should taste, simply delightful!
