Over the weekend, I checked out Cosmi’s Deli — voted Best Cheesesteak by Philadelphia Magazine 2008. I opted for a simple cheesesteak with fried onions and hot peppers. The hoagie had great texture and the steak was fresh, but the American cheese didn’t do it for me — I guess I’m a whiz fan. Cosmi’s cheesesteaks are made-to-order, unlike Pat’s, Geno’s or Jim’s.
