I love finding the Taim Mobile food truck in my neighborhood. On those days, I know I will have a fresh, healthy and delicious lunch. The Mediterranean Platter with hummus and tahini, Israeli salad (cucumber, tomato and parsley), quinoa salad (quinoa, chickpeas, dried cranberry, parsley and shallot) and cabbage slaw is the perfect light meal. Served with a white or whole-wheat pita, the platter is probably the healthiest choice on the menu but it’s so satisfying and tasty. When you can’t make it to Taim in the West Village, it’s nice that Taim Mobile can come to you. Check their website or Twitter feed for weekly locations and schedule.
