Happy 2009! With the new year come the resolutions, and I’ve heard that many friends have resolved to cook at home more. In fact, I’ve been doing the same myself with the help of Jamie Oliver’s latest, Jamie at Home.

The Naked Chef’s latest cookbook offers over 100 recipes organized by season; he encourages us to use seasonal vegetables, fruits and game year round. Oliver also shares advice on growing produce and on responsible farming and purchasing.

I’ve been craving onion soup lately, and his recipe for English onion soup with sage and Cheddar is good for the soul. (Photo below) Mmm!
