The Nobis Hotel is the hottest new hotel in Stockholm. Its lobby is flanked by Marimekko and Acne storefronts (the classic Finnish designer that defined modern design, and the world famous contemporary hip Swedish brand), which should give you an idea of what the Nobis Hotel is like — stylish, modern, hip and a place to be seen. Most of all, the location is unbeatable. Most of my sightseeing and dining destinations were nearby: from chic design shops and good restaurants to Östermalms Saluhall (a gourmet market with eateries) in the Östermalm neighborhood, the museums on the island of Skeppsholmen and the charming old city streets of Gamla Stan. The standard rooms are small, but the bathrooms are spa-like and comfortable. In the evenings the restaurant and lounge are mobbed with beautiful people. Nobis Hotel is where it’s at!
