Miel de bruyère blanche
(Honey from white bramble)
Last week, in his London flat, my dear friend Matthieu showed me a bounty of artisan products he had brought back from his country home in the Ardèche in South Central France. This jar of thick, intensely flavored honey from white bramble was particularly endearing with its gorgeous floral pattern cap. We had it for breakfast on toast with butter, and some tea, of course!
