This year, Adirondack Creamery has come out with two limited edition holiday-themed flavors: pumpkin and peppermint stick.The pumpkin ice cream is made with pure pumpkin and a special blend of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger), and the peppermint stick is made with Altamarie’s handmade peppermint candy.

The pumpkin ice cream (photo above) tastes like a subtle pumpkin pie in ice cream form. It’s very light but still captures all the spices that I love about the pie. And the peppermint stick is a fun alternative to mint ice cream with pieces of candy cane mixed in.
