The ingredients (all organic) are just raw cocao, rapadura (unrefined whole cane sugar), powder green tea and peppermint. The taste is pure and focused. I like that you hit a sweet note with the Bahia Brazilian single-origin cacao but it doesn’t fall flat on just sugary illusions. Both the matcha and peppermint are surprisingly subtle for the power they usually hold. These two anti-oxidant players blend well together. Just when you think you can barely detect the two green agents, the cool effect of the peppermint lingers long after you’ve finished your last bite of the chocolate. I enjoyed this with green tea for a bit of the savory and sweet interaction. And did I mention it’s also kosher?
