At lunch, Torrisi used to prepare just one sheet of eggplant Parmesan. Lunch started at 11am, so if you made it early, you might have been lucky enough to taste this delicious classic done right. Layers of thin fried slices of eggplant, gooey mozzarella, crispy baked Parmesan, homemade marinara and fresh basil are served alone or on a sandwich. My advice: skip out early for lunch to make sure you get yours.
Now that Parm opened next door to Torrisi, the eggplant parm is available all day!
