While we’re on the topic of Shanghainese food, here’s another favorite of mine in Taipei. Rong Rong Yuan is so popular that despite multiple fines by the city, due to the communities’ complaint that the restaurant should not be open in a residential area, crowds still pour in, and the owners still do unstoppable business. Here we have crab and rice cakes in a clay pot.
