This adorable chocolate Easter egg ($12) is the perfect Easter treat. The egg comes in dark, milk and white chocolate. Crack the egg open and not only can you eat the chocolate shell, but you’re also in for another surprise: three Caramélia truffle eggs nested inside. The Caramélia eggs — smooth milk chocolate with caramel and toffee notes — complement the pure chocolate eggshell. All are made with Valrhona chocolate. There’s something for everyone from children to adults, as pastry chef Dominque Ansel is also producing limited-edition Easter puzzle eggs ($50). Inspired by Chinese ivory puzzle balls, the special puzzle eggs are a three-in-one treat: a gold-dusted milk chocolate eggshell, a white chocolate eggshell and a dark chocolate egg truffle in the center. Only 50 puzzle eggs will be made so it’s best to call and reserve yours now.
