Did you know that Tupperware now makes professional-grade cookware? I was delighted to find this unique griddle pan that’s part of its Chef Series of cutlery and cookware. It’s a griddle in the form of a pan — a circular, flat 12-inch surface with a handle that makes it easy to use. The griddle’s tri-ply construction, made with layers of aluminum fused between sheets of stainless steel, enables it to heat quickly and evenly. The handle is cast hollow so it doesn’t heat up, even when cooking — a feature I adore. No more burned fingers! This griddle is elegant and utilitarian, perfect for making pancakes, crepes and just about anything from grilled chicken to steak. I’m not suggesting that Mom should slave behind the stove any more than she already does, but I’m sure that this is a gift that she’s going to love.
