I’m particular about the texture of my ceramic wares. My favorites are light in weight and elegant to the touch. While sipping my espresso out of a cup made and designed by Parisian ceramist, Catherine Magdelaine, I was in awe of both the extremely thin yet solid texture of the cup and her exquisite black ink drawings accentuating the beige background on all surfaces of the cup and saucer. I’ve also seen an entire kitchen wall in tiles painted by her, numerous plate settings and other objects. A real talent. Magdelaine’s works are all pièce unique and price on request.
