I celebrated my last birthday at Arancino with one of my favorite pairings, uni spaghetti and champagne. The service at the Kahala Hotel is excellent, and while Arancino at the Kahala is the only restaurant on property that does not have a view of the ocean, you can enjoy a walk and the view on property and the beach afterwards, so I recommend going at lunchtime. Also because the restaurant has a fabulous lunch deal: a three-course lunch costs $39, though you’ll definitely want to get the uni spaghetti, which is worth the $8 supplemental charge. The uni cream sauce is dreamy and one of the best I’ve tasted, with each ingredient of garlic, tomato, white wine and cream distinct, while working in unison to create a balanced profile.
