Francesco Realmuto and Salvatore Potestio founded L’Arte del Gelato in Chelsea Market about four years ago. Now they have Upper West Side and West Village locations as well, and their original store is moving to a bigger space in Chelsea Market.

Also note the new logo, designed by Italian culture aficionado, Louise Fili Ltd., that brings out the fun nature of gelato. On L’Arte del Gelato’s website, you can compare the home page to the interior pages to see how the new logo works so much better than the old.
