Cheddar toast should be easy, as it’s just cheese and bread. But you have to have the right type of cheese and the right type of bread, and it has to melt the right way to create the right texture and consistency. At Freemans, the cheese is slightly browned and flawlessly melted on pieces of country bread. If you don’t keep count of how many you’ve had, you’ll spoil your appetite!
