Chicken Liver Pate

Ah, “the little jar of heaven” — this is how I refer to the jar of silky smooth chicken liver pâté at Buvette. Spread on the warm, lightly pressed bread with a drizzle of olive oil and a touch of salt, the pâté is like savory whipped cream. I also love how the tartness of the accompanying cornichons and olives cuts the richness of the liver. A bite of chicken liver toast then a bite of a cornichon… Before I know it, I’ve finished the entire jar.
