“Grapy” is not a word I’d commonly use to describe something I like. But, there’s really no better word to capture the taste profile of this delicious Concord jam. “Grapy” as in intense, pure, sweet and deep purply goodness.
This is no Welch’s. Think of it as the sophisticated, grown-up version of your childhood jelly. Sweet Deliverance NYC’s Concord grape jam almost intimidates with its intensity. I love the texture — very fine and more like a fruit purée than a diluted or overly cloying jam.
I like it just on buttered toast but it also works very well with hard cow’s milk cheese.
